National Strings: Nellie (18)

National Strings: August 2021

I had an amazing time on the National Strings course. I played in the Mendelssohn Octet, and Brahms quartet in C minor. It was lovely to play with some musicians I’d known previously but hadn’t played with for a long time. I also had solo sessions with Vanessa David and Robbie Gibbs, which I really enjoyed and improved from hugely. It was amazing to work with the pianist Rebecca Selley, and work on some repertoire in my current stage of being in between school and music college.
