London Bridge Variations

A set of variations usng double stopping, easy harmonics and LH pizz.

Students and teachers alike love this piece!

Unlocked

A mixture of fast and cantabile movements in an approachable contemporary style. It is a feast of contemporary effects such as arco battuto, tremolo, LH pizzicato and false harmonics.

The movements are: Make me a Garment; No Justice; The Wind Blow East; The Keys to the Prison; Trouble, Trouble.

Oversize music, poor print.

Sonata in C Op.65

A feast of technical mastery of left and right hand pizzicato, stopped harmonics, barriolage, double stops, saltando, spiccato and other techniques.

The movements are: Dialogo; Scherzo-pizzicato; Elegia; Marcia; Moto Perpetuo.

Requires an experienced pianist.

Pizzicato Pie

Left hand pizzicato encourages a loose thumb and swinging elbow.

Watch out for the misprint in the viola part key signature!

Polish Dance

Polish Dance is in the style of a Mazurka requiring some more advanced techniques such as with triple stopping, left hand pizzicato and natural harmonics. There is a section high on the G-string which will benefit from a good sostenuto sound. Great fun to play!
