Aus der Heimat, 2nd movement

Aus der Heimat (From the homeland) is in two movements. The second movement contains a mix of Czech song and dance sections. It opens in a high register with rubato. There are cantabile sections with some phrases to be played all on one string. The faster sections contain spiccato, fast triplets, some arpeggiando bowing and broken octaves.

This features various rhythmic patterns including A level recommended double dots.

It is worth noting that you need a good pianist for this movement.
