This early Mozart string quartet in C major is a lovely light-hearted quartet starter.
Allegro: Some nimble left hand required in trills, turns and semiquavers in the violin parts. The cello part is relatively straightforward providing a rhythmic bass.
Andante: In C minor with the melody, rolling accompaniment and bass line moving between instruments. The cello gets to play the tune!
Presto: A Rondo romp. Good spiccato is needed and there are some fun syncopations held in place by a steady viola.
